Let´s cook an apple pie...

This Friday the pupils from 5th and 6th grade cooked an apple pie... here is the slideshow to see how we made it... and how we ate it!!!! DELICIOUS!!

>During these last two weeks we have been learning about Thanksgiving in the USA. This week in the Arts & Crafts class we´re going to cook an apple pie!

Ó longo destas dúas últimas semanas estivemos aprendendo cousas sobre o día de Acción de Gracias celebrado nos Estados Unidos de América. Esta semana na clase de plástica imos a cociñar unha típica torta de mazá "apple pie".

A presentación que aparece arriba foi a que fixo Denis para explicarnos máis acerca desta celebración.

Picture Dictation.

Pupils from 5th grade listened to some direcctions in English to make a drawing. These were the direcctions:
In the middle of the picture there is a big house
• The house has a door and two windows
• On the roof of the house there is a chimney
• In the top right hand side of the picture there is a very big sun
• Beside the house and under the sun there is a little hill
• On top of the hill there is a big apple tree
• In front of the hill there is a little girl and little boy skipping
• In front of the house there is a little garden path
• In the left hand side of picture there is a big pond
• There is a small toy boat in the pond
• There is long grass all around the pond
• In the top left hand side of the picture there are two clouds
• Below the two clouds there are two big birds flying

RELAXING PIANO . DRAWING ACTIVITY 5th GRADE

This is a classic activity in the bilingual section at Eladia Mariño.
First the pupils listen to relaxing music with their eyes closed and after they have to draw what they felt. See some pictures of the activity.
