RECORDANDO FAI ANOS...KANDINSKY PROJECT.

Aproveitando que se celebra o 148º aniversario do nacemento de Kandinsky, deixovos aquí o proxecto que fixeron uns rapaces e rapazas que agora están no insti... sempre os recordarei con moito cariño.

Este foi un proxecto moi ambicioso e a moi longo plazo que resultou moi positivo para todos nós, coidamos que coas fotos agora dende as familias entendades un pouco máis de todos os pasos polos que fomos pasando e evolucionando ata o resultado final no que, como en toda obra abstracta, a estética de cada artista é como un mundo no cal se expresan e nos amosan un pouco máis de eles mesmos, os seus gustos cromáticos, temáticos, ...en definitiva,o seu mundo interior. Deixóuselles libertade en canto a materiais e texturas e eles fixeron un traballo magnífico, tamén agradecer ás familias a vosa confianza en que "esas cousas raras" servisen para algo... e crédeme que dende logo que sí, é moi difícil facer voar a túa imaxinación e os teus sentimentos sen medo ó que dirán... Gracias!

Ó longo destas dúas últimas semanas estivemos aprendendo cousas sobre o día de Acción de Gracias celebrado nos Estados Unidos de América. Esta semana na clase de plástica imos a cociñar unha típica torta de mazá "apple pie".

A presentación que aparece arriba foi a que fixo Denis para explicarnos máis acerca desta celebración.

Picture Dictation.

Pupils from 5th grade listened to some direcctions in English to make a drawing. These were the direcctions:
In the middle of the picture there is a big house
• The house has a door and two windows
• On the roof of the house there is a chimney
• In the top right hand side of the picture there is a very big sun
• Beside the house and under the sun there is a little hill
• On top of the hill there is a big apple tree
• In front of the hill there is a little girl and little boy skipping
• In front of the house there is a little garden path
• In the left hand side of picture there is a big pond
• There is a small toy boat in the pond
• There is long grass all around the pond
• In the top left hand side of the picture there are two clouds
• Below the two clouds there are two big birds flying

THE SUNFLOWERS

In the last term we have been working on drawing different kinds of flowers (starting with spring ones), so one of the most popular picture of flowers is: The Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh. We´ve been learning about his life and some other famous pictures, watching a video about him...after all we made our own versions of "The Sunflowers" and "Arlés Bedroom"

(Neste último trimestre estivemos traballando acerca de dibuxos de distintos tipos de flores (empezando coas de primavera) así que un dos cuadros máis famosos nos que aparecen flores é: Os Xirasois de Vincent Van Gogh. Estivemos aprendendo acerca da súa vida, vendo algúnhas das súas obras máis famosas, tamén vimos un vídeo acerca del...despois de todo fixemos as nosas propias versións das obras: "Os xirasois" e "A habitación de Arlés".

This was a very interesting activity! we had to listen to music and draw what we decided expressing our feellings .... Firstable they were a bit shy.... but at the end the activity aim was absolutely achieved!!!: have fun and relax through the music!!
